My Prayer on Behalf of the Earth From afar I saw her resplendent beauty like that of a colorful jewel slowly spinning against a backdrop of black velvet. She was the most beautiful planet in the whole universe; her name, Gaia. The next awareness I recall was seeing myself in a body. Indeed, my spirit had taken a form on Gaia. I had been born a human being and quickly discovered I had company. Gaia had created many other beings in the course of millions of years before I was created. They were the nature beings. I found water beings almost everywhere. They ranged from mysterious hillside springs to vast oceans. The water beings had the ability to transform into playful clouds, soothing rain, magical snow and ice hard as rock. |
